THE SOLUTION |

I was praying one night, and said, “God there has got to be a solution to this problem”. “Please help me to know what to do.” It wasn’t long after that, the answer came. I truly believe it was inspiration from God, and I claim no recognition for the idea. So what is the fourth option? The idea is to start a new program that models some of the characteristics of 2 successful programs like Teen Challenge and Dream Center, but incorporates a few other aspects to the program. HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS: Once a parent is aware that their son/daughter has a drug problem they can contact “FAMILY SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION”. Our organization will be working with the court system. After the parent contacts “Family Solutions Foundation,” we will discuss the options available to them. The defendant/juvenile will likely be taken into custody. The defendant will be detained until he/she is processed into the system (usually 24 hours or less). This will give the young addict a chance to see where his/her life is heading. He/she will be charged with whatever drug charge is relevant to their situation. They will then be offered the option to go to trial and face criminal punishment, or to take the deferral/ diversion program. It they choose the deferral/diversion program, ALL charges will be suspended until completion of the stipulations on the deferral order have been fulfilled. These Stipulations Will Offer: · 1 year in house treatment program. · 6 month post-release random drug testing program offered by “Family Solutions Foundation”. Upon successfully participating and completing the program, All charges will be dismissed and no further court appearances will be necessary. It can never be brought against them again. It’s like it never happened. And they will have the skills to move forward with heir NEW LIFE.
